Turns out, it works!
BUT it’s cute, comfortable and flowy, which works for the mom belly and overeating (ha!), and something a little different than what I normally wear. I actually also wore this dress with a straight, black pencil skirt under it. Kind of weird, I know, but I found when I lifted my arm, the dress pulled up too high and I was weirded out by that. I’m short so I could pull this look off on it’s own, but I also loved a layer of protection.
Also, purple velvet booties are ALWAYS a thing.
